Biography

Someday, most likely some morning in 2006, two electronic music heads met at SAM’S club in Bielefeld, Germany. They shared the same views on what good music is to them and started mixing together. First, they only juggled tunes at home for the fun of it, but soon realized that they really function well as a team. They joined forces and 2Taktmotor was born. Both began mixing electro in 2006, but by now 2Taktmotor mostly feed their turntables with minimal techno.The DJ duo made a name for themselves by performing regularly during after hour at SAM’S club in Bielefeld. This club was their home turf, but not the only playground where the two of them had a good time. They performed at several clubs in the region of North Rhine Westphalia (NRW), among them elephant club (Bielefeld), X (Herford) and fusion (Münster). Additionally they had air time on radio hertz 87,9. 2Taktmotor has been on stage with big names like “Tube and Berger, Oliver Klein, Tomcraft and many more.
